Check in and Check out times
Normal Check in time is between 4.00pm and 10.30pm. We do appreciate an estimated arrival time in order for us to plan for your arrival. Early check in, for luggage drop off and key pick up, may be arranged by contacting us prior to arrival. During very busy periods we may have to charge a fee for very early check in but this will be made clear at time of booking.
Normal Check out time is 10.30am however we try to be as flexible as possible so please contact us should you require a later check out or need to leave your luggage securely.
Cars can be parked in the parking area to the rear of the main house, please follow the sign and drive through the gates. If you arrive outside of the normal check in time, and you have not let us know in advance, the gates may be closed. Please do not open the gates as we only close them when the dogs are playing in the garden and they will run out if the gates are opened. Please ring the doorbell and we will secure the dogs and open the gates.
Yew Tree Farm garden
Guests are welcome to wander the garden and woods. Please ensure young children play in the gardens with adult supervision, there are plenty of den opportunities!
All our rooms are on the ground floor, external to the main house with their own front door with the two king rooms being level entry. The double and twin rooms have a small step on entry. All rooms are smoke and pet free.
Bathroom and shower rooms
All our rooms are en-suite and all have a toilet, washbasin, shower or shower/bath, mirrors and shaver point. The showers all have a small step on entry. Grab rails can be provided on request.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room next to the B&B rooms from 'as early as you like' to 9.30am. All our breakfasts are cooked to order and take approximately 20 minutes to cook so please allow for this when considering your breakfast time.
We can cater for most dietary requirements but appreciate knowing what is required prior to arrival so that we can ensure we have everything you need. Please add any dietary requirements to your booking in the 'notes' if you are booking on-line or let us know if you call or email.
If children require any special cereals or breakfast items please let us know in advance. If you love Kippers or eggs Benedict please let us know in advance.
We do include peanuts as a complimentary snack in the rooms so please do let us know if anyone has a peanut allergy so that we can ensure no peanuts or peanut products are placed in the room. If anyone in your group has any other allergies we should be aware of then please let us know in advance. All our pillows and duvets have synthetic fillings.
All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary snacks, shower gel, shampoo, soap, towels and hairdryers as standard. Guests may also request the use of grab rails, straighteners, an iron and ironing board and umbrella should they require them. We can also provide an emergency kit should guests forget their shaving kit or toothbrush, just ask us when you discover they are missing.
We also offer an overnight laundry service (£5 per wash and dry) and a cream tea (2 homemade scones, clotted cream, homemade strawberry jam and a pot of tea) at a cost of £4.50 per person. We normally require 24 hours notice for a cream tea but, if Lynn's not at work, she can usually whip these up in an hour or so!
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol to drink on the premises however we do not hold an alcohol licence so cannot serve or sell you any wine, beer or spirits.
There are a variety of restaurants, pubs and fast food outlets in or close to Newton Longville, including The Crooked Billet, The Three Trees, The Prince George. Please let us know if you require further information ahead of your visit.
And finally... if you have any special requests or celebration requests (apart from alcohol) please let us know so that we can ensure the celebration is memorable.
